Why is this locked?
It's not a lot but they are mostly rare(ish) about a dozen £2 and similar £50p with some of each very rare.
Who locked it?
Never saw it locked, was just being a bit silly.
I've tried to keep a few coins from each country on my travels but stuffed it up a few years ago. Put a heap of them in a dish overnight with some calcium, lime and rust cleaner but it just stripped them bare. Was fuming

I found a 1922 Peace Dollar hiding amongst some military buttons at an auction in Norwich,the deep strike version is apparently worth decent money. Very difficult to tell if it is or not. Some very fine margins in what is a valuable coin and what's only worth the melt value.
I've got a decent collection of coins and notes from around the world. All pre-euro stuff.
I keep meaning to get them cleaned up and put in a little book or something but for now they're just sat in an ancient tin under the bed
