Can you collect that?Contactless these days mate
From what I've read online, cleaning is sacrilege and you should only handle them wearing white cotton gloves...who knew.I've got a decent collection of coins and notes from around the world. All pre-euro stuff.
I keep meaning to get them cleaned up and put in a little book or something but for now they're just sat in an ancient tin under the bed
Roy Cropper likes this postI have a small carrier bag with a fair number of British pre-decimal coins and notes. I checked online about 10 years ago and a few are worth more than original value. Has always been my intention to find somewhere to send the rest. In addition have a couple of decimal 50p pieces that are supposed to be worth more than face value, but they are "used" and therefore not pristine. Add to that an old tin of foreign coins which I have no clue about. Obviously I am not a numismatist but do find them interesting especially trying to find more info on the internet.
Ah makes sense now. So was never locked in the first placeI saw something that looks like a lock next to it but it is because I am watching it!
