Your analysis is akin to dismissing the idea that money is of no importance in the Prem because a single club outside the monied elite, Leicester, won the title. :coffee:

Quite clearly the overall picture of climate models being poo still stands your dalliance with flawed logic comes under the heading "the exception that proves the rule" which I am sure a man of such savoir faire as yourself can see.

Kudos for admitting the salient "dangerous" phrase doesn't exist btw, top man ;)
I will also give you this. https://www.physics-astronomy.org/2020/01/scientist-slams-climate-change-deniers.html?m=1

She has also laid down a challenge within that article, I reckon you should have a go at it. She has even offered to help ;)

Not sure i have had the pleasure off being ignored by baz yet, so at the request off @JimmyJeffers. Here are @verreauxi words too him....

I know he can't see my posts, but you gotta love Rathbone's stunning inability to argue/debate in even a remote sense of the word.
His strategy is basically:
1) ignore substance of post, then repeat past ignorant claim, then claim other poster has somehow verified his own point.
2) if that doesn't work, accuse poster of being emotional, angry, or frothing and end each sentence with emoji and/or juvenile sarcasm.
3) if that doesn't work, put poster on ignore.

Climate change is the millennial modern social media nonsense in full force now.

It's clearly real, I mean winter isn't even cold anymore , I remember having to go out fully kitted to battle the conditions. Bit of rain and a mild chill is all you get now.

But sticking a young girl and calling her the spokesperson for a generation brings ridicule onto the case , not awareness. Is she a climate change scientist? Is she some sort of second coming of Jesus? No she is just a girl that people have stupidly made the face of the issue which takes away the point about it all. No longer about climate change, it's all about her, the grown ups who made the decision to sell her out effectively are at fault.

And I see vegans have moved onto be a vegan and save the world. Unless they refuse to drive , fly , use any product that was made by a factory causing climate change , use any service that contributes to climate change, etc. Then vegans are hypocrites when they peddle this line .

None of this is about veganism or saving the world. It's all for a few extra likes and shares online.
How dare you

One of the best markers of man-made climate change is not some scientific study, with streams of analytical data that people like Big Bad Barry can pull apart, but rather simply talking and listening to people who live close to nature and depend on nature to sustain them.

I watched a Simon Reeve program the other day in which he spent time with this tribe of pigmies living in Columbia. One of the oldest cultures existing on our planet today. They live off the land and depend on nature and it's seasons to survive. It was striking to hear of them refer to us (modern living humans) as "younger brother".

In their words "younger brother" is hurting the world and they must stop or bad things will happen. They can no longer predict when the rains will come, so they have problems sowing and harvesting crops (they rely on information past down by their ancestors over thousands of years). But these last 20 years things have changed drastically for them and when the rains do come they cause flooding in areas that have never been flooded before according to their ancient records.

These people live as close to nature as possible and their experiences should be noted as the true indicators of man-made climate change. We live in a completely different world (very removed from nature) so the effects are far less obvious to us and therefore it's easy for us to dismiss notions of man-made climate change as nonsense and then debunk any data that is presented.

So Barry lad - I suggest that you go and spend some time with the pygmies, then come back on here and discuss climate change like an adult.

Farmers in East Africa telling the same stories. Weather pattern of the last 1000 years absolutely guffed in the last 30.

Sorry guys, late to the party the oil shill check was late because the payment system runs on wind power and it wasn't windy, lol .

@WA Toffee

I think you are getting confused by the same model being slightly tweaked and ran 7 times.

The Hayhoe citation is a colossal strawman putting ludicrous effort into attacking a manufactured 3% inferring she and her pals are exposing 3 things seemingly integral to the skeptic argument - "climate wasn't changing, or if it was, it wasn't humans, or it wasn't bad.".

The first contention is ludicrous I would wager 99.99% of skeptics acknowledge that the climate changes, always has always will, it is essential to the null hypothesis. She cannot negate the second contention because non modelled evidence to demonstrate man made causation by co2 doesn't exist. Thirdly her claim of negating "it wasn't bad" it just an outright lie not a mention of it anywhere in her paper let alone definitive evidence.

You've been suckered chum

@steveojcc

Mate, you're in danger of drifting into "ignore" shill territory right there but if any of 'em ever get round to answering the question of "where is the requisite observational evidence for man made climate doom" do let me know otherwise let them play on the periphery .

@Mutzo Nutzo .

Do your guys in the jungle know the industrial revolution began more than 20 yrs ago? Possibly not

Yawn.

I have no interest wasting my time with you. Stick me on ignore would you please.

I was relaying a message, seen as you are a tedious bore, a chicken who ends debate with the ignore button. You suck the energy out of debate.

No sense arguing with lunacy. Ultra denial of basic facts seems to be your thing. Leave me out of your madness.
