It's true, and hopefully cleaner battery and long distance travel technology can be developed but the simple fact is that using the wind, sun, and sea to generate electricity is better for us all than using fossil fuels.
If you remember I tried to explain it in the past, but it’s like trying to teach a dog about physics.

Barry "anti-vax" Bone has been quiet only because he has silenced all those who disagree with him by putting them on ignore. Obviously, this isn't a principled stance of fighting/debating for what you believe in; this is the cowardly fingers-in-ears, eye-closed, saying "la-la-la-la-la-la..." approach. Similar to his ending each sentence with an idiotic emoji, I find this very adult of him.
I don't think he has me on ignore, but I just can't be @rsed in engaging him any more. All he has to cling onto is "all the websites I link are 100% correct and all the science you present is 100% wrong".

The problems then come for land locked countries in the Northern Hemisphere with very little sun and variable wind conditions,and how to store the little energy that can be generated.The laws of physics will always get in the way.For me the biggest challenge is going to be changing the mindset of people who want the latest tech they want...now.And don't want wind farms and solar arrays spoiling their countyside views.
Barry, you have quoted and linked to "principia scientific" to support your climate denialism. Apart from anti-vaxxers, just look at what types of people visit this site (screen shot below). Maybe you should rethink your sources and learn a bit about science. I realize that you cannot control which tinfoil hat weirdos leave holocaust-denial comments on those sites, but you can control which fringe sources you quote from. You clearly hold the correct views on the attrocity and facts(!) of the holocaust as your quote above, taken from the Birkenau thread, demonstrates...I am confident it's not a far leap for you to learn the facts of science and how they apply to climate modeling and climate change.
