Well, when the alternative is bow down to middle class trustafarians and do what they say......

It does take a certain level of stupid to think mucking up the tube for any reason will make Londoners think they have a point.

Mate, some guy was a split second from pulling him off the train, he had to do something.

Good. They shouldn't have been up there. They have absolutely no right to do this.

Their stupid tactics are causing nothing but costing money and police time and, in this case, derailing people who have nothing to answer for trying to get to work.

It won't further the worthy cause. And of course, it is a worthy, albeit stupid in cases like screaming it's the end of the world like lunatics, cause. We have to do something.

But this is not it. Their protests are now criminal in some cases.

Today's example was just endangering themselves and others. They haven't raised awareness of any issue. They've just proved how ridiculous and self-righteous they are.

Now I do not condone in any sense the actions of the people at the station laying in kicks and punches. But I think if I was there and needing to get to work to earn a living, then I'd be grabbing the pleb off the train too.

But the whole point of a protest is to spread a message, and/or garner support for your cause to then put pressure on Governments to "Do something".

Now there isnt a sane person in the UK who knows we should do better, and pretty much every household does do something. Ergo, the message isnt new. And they are applying zero pressure on anyone by just being an utter PITA for Londoners.

David Attenborough did better than any of these idiots will ever do with a 30 second film of a fish with a straw in its mouth.

Good to see a couple of these protesters getting a good shoeing on the tube this morning - about time.
Public transport is a big part of the solution and not the problem. It is also a relatively low carbon method of transportation. Talk about not know your target audience?

On a side note I was in Sweden for a few days last week and more people are interested in Greta's mother - a famous opera singer and a bit of a MILF from all reports.

Every single house I drive past or deliver to has 2 recycling boxes out once a week. The use of new plastic bags for shopping has plummeted. Hardly a week goes by when a new electric charger is lobbed up at a company's parking lot.

My local council recycles close to 70% of all household waste.

So the message is getting across, and getting up the nose of normal people will do squat to further that.
