Which are completely bonkers and unattainable.
I mean its more bonkers watching temperature rise, animals low down in the food chain wiped out which has a knock on effect, draughts that lead to wars and flooding that means sea side cities sinking and some even being underwater by 2050 (Indonesia literally moving their capital city as the current one wont be there soon) and thinking this is OK.

And its only unattainable in a capitalist system that only relies and cares about growth and GDP to survive. It really is socialism or barbarism.

Perhaps they should play chess instead

Climbing on top of a tube train, in the morning rush hour commute, at Canning Town is very naive at best and dangerously stupid at worst.

Also gluing themselves to the electric DLR is beyond stupid from a PR perspective.

It thoroughly undermines their message as low carbon, mass public transit is part of the solution.

The problem with this mornings action is that its not got people talking about the climate and 'the science', it's got people talking about a man on a train kicking a commuter in the head.
After talking about the real situation for the last weeks or months or whatever it is and the next however long due to the actions. As I have said all along (even though it annoys the fat old men) GOOD FOR THEM! While some of you sit idly by doing nothing but criticise despite the situation, these people are trying to make a change.
I know 100% they will not admit they were wrong when it really hits the fan, they will probably claim to be all for the protests just like they always "thought Gana was brilliant"

Yes, but as I said, now all anyone is going to be saying is 'look at that guy kicking a commuter in head the head'.

They won't change the minds of the 'fat old men' but they will change the minds of those that have sympathy for their activities or feel that action against them is disproportionate. The action this morning, in my opinion, damages that.

How many cities should be underwater now according to previous estimates by ""experts"?

Tell you what, go and speak to a farmer in Kenya who have seen their seasons change completely in the last 15 years. Or somebody in Florida who's home has been flooded by surge tides 3 times in the last decade and none for the previous 2 decades. Go talk to people in Israel who are relying on desalinating sea water for reliable drinking water as the ground water level has receded so much the sea of Galilee is no longer sustainable. Or go to talk to my friend in Puerto Rico who was homeless for 4 weeks and had to walk for two days to get to the only mobile phone mast still operating to let people know she was alive after the strongest hurricane they ever had.

You can tell them it's all nonsense and see what response you get.
