Also aren't you guys kinda causing more emissions by having everyone drive alternate routes that are longer, and now congested.

Seems kind of counterintuitive and just stupid.

But I don't know. The kids and the adults that are kids all know better. They have it all figured out. No more planes, no more cars, and oh yeah bubble gum is free. Ffs.

Well it is all of your loved ones and their children under threat by the current situation. I am just grateful to the people taking time out of their lives to try and get something done about it.
What amazes me is the amount of grown men picking at any little thing to degrade what they are doing and continue to deny there is even an issue (despite the overwhelming evidence the world over).

What are you on about? They are not asking for no more planes or cars, they are asking for quicker action in reducing the poison they are spewing in our atmosphere.

You really do say anything to try and deny the obvious good they are doing, so fecking weird.

You seem to be under the belief that all alternative routes are much longer than the one affected in the hypothetical case of a protest.

This is just a bit weird and quite frankly you are stretching the truth to make your point.

I did agree with the sentiment of your last post but this is silly.

If you are from the US you know the way they build cities here is that they are specifically designed in grids. So in most cases the alternate routes are the same or maybe a minute or two longer perhaps.

Given that most protests happen in cities and not villages and small town i doubt emergency services have miles to cover if redirected.

Unless of course the accident is in the immediate area of said protest.

They've just started a "People's Assembly" on Marsham Street outside Home Office.

Before it started a woman asked that people not think of responses to whomever was speaking - so no debate.

It is also the least diverse group of people I've seen in central London, so unrepresentative of the people.

I don’t live in London so I’m fine with it. However people who are having heart attacks where every minute counts probably aren’t.
