Cisse

Would be very annoyed, if we ended up signing Cisse for an amount, that would probably also get us Jô.

On James Vaughan, I can only say that I hope he will overcome his injuries, because I rate him very highly. Him and Jô would be my dream strike partnership for the future. Hope both of them will fulfill their enormous potential with Everton.

Couldn't imagine this happening in a million years.

I do agree about Saha and Vaughan to injury prone to be a consistent option.

Hoping on a Victor turnaround like last week. Lot of good words from Knight on handling him last game.

Hoping Jo won't cost us a small fortune. If city has their eyes elsewhere we may get a bargain in him if he keeps the pace up.

Problem we have with our strike force:

Yak: injured but hopefully back next season
Saha: just injured too often - not reliable
Vaughan: as above
Victor: not good enough for a team that wants CL football, but great back-up
Jo: on loan

So something has to improve.

I'd love Jo to work out, us sign him, Yak get fit again, and Saha to stay fit for 20 games a season. That would be the ideal.

As far as Cisse goes, he's a good forward, not spectacular but a cut above the likes of AJ, Vic and probably Vaughan (never gets to improve, the poor lad).

I think if we do get Jo, either Vic or Vaughan will leave.
