Interesting report from 60 Minutes. Chinas naval build up over 20 years is insane. Looks like it will end up demanding a very costly spending programme by the US to maintain a seagoing force with enough power projection to deter China in the future.

Saw something the other day basically saying china blue water navy buildup if miles behind the US, with the majority of their ships limited to less than 500 nautical miles of war range and they won’t eclipse the USN until 2050 at the earliest.
