Everton enjoyed a most pleasant cross-cultural visit to Cheltenham Ladies College last night and received some delightful applause at the end of their demonstration of Scouse Reels. David Moyes took time to thank the headmistress for her hospitality, adding an apology for the rather coarse behaviour of a section of his "fans".
Seriously, it was a polite night all right. Commentator Craig Burley - for it was he - was moved to say that he had heard no swearing from the Cheltenham crowd and furthermore that four letter words became "more prevalent" the further north one travelled. Burley didn't say that...he said swearing was more prevalent the further up the Leagues you go. And he's actually right(for the first time ever).

Yeah they did, fair game.Weren't the Cheltenham supporters singing to Phil Neville "you're a s**t Gary Neville" or was that the Everton fans singing it?![]()
