Job done, professional performance, signs of a really top class side - only a few years ago would have been a potential banana skin, not a chance tonight -evidence of our progress as a club..

Great result. However, am I the only one who thought we were a bit gash tonight.?Some of the passing was atrocious.

I know, people will say I'm moaning after winning 5-1.

I thought we didn't play nearly as well as we have done this season. Passing was poor and the players didn't seem that interested. The only positives for me was having Coleman back and that for once we took our chances and scored.

Naismith and Gueye were poor. Jelavic disappeared a lot and Oveido lost the ball more than a few times do to silly choices. Really disappointed we didn't see even one of the youngsters. Really what is the point of subbing Hitz and Naismith, players who get game time almost weekly, when we are 3 goals up? I feel bad for Barkley, Duffy, and Vellios.

It's killing me.
I know we won and had a job to do etc etc but we need to get our youngsters playing.
3 talented lads who will get a game elsewhere for sure. Moyes, much as I love him is **** at bringing kids on.

Everton enjoyed a most pleasant cross-cultural visit to Cheltenham Ladies College last night and received some delightful applause at the end of their demonstration of Scouse Reels. David Moyes took time to thank the headmistress for her hospitality, adding an apology for the rather coarse behaviour of a section of his "fans".

Seriously, it was a polite night all right. Commentator Craig Burley - for it was he - was moved to say that he had heard no swearing from the Cheltenham crowd and furthermore that four letter words became "more prevalent" the further north one travelled. I thought he was being ironic but no. You are a [Poor language removed], Craig, if you'll pardon my Glaswegian!

I thought he might have played Barkley from the off...or brought a couple of the younger lads on at half time. Would much prefer to see some them rather than the likes of Gueye etc.
