Change of Manager

Early days but what Bob has done so far has impressed me. Need to wait for the results though and to see his long term transfer policy but he has made a promising start.

An ode to Martinez - Written from the perspective of your average every day knee jerk, bi-polar and anxious Evertonian.

Koff Martinez! I love you Roberto... That'll do Bobby. FFS Winning the passing isn't winning the game you spanish donut! Ahh, this passing game's lovely to watch. Boss goal that, well in Roberto. Koff Moyes!

Did Moyes admit he knew the United job was his in December? Link anyone? I'm just curious.

You think SAF just woke up the week before and thought, "Hmmm, I think I'll retire. And by Jove, I think David Moyes would be perfect as my successor" as if it came to him in s blinding flash? He knew for months he was leaving and he'd make damn sure his replacement was lined up as quickly as possible.

i find his level of disrespect appalling, everything he did(stabilising us) is forgotten now, i hope he fails miserably and ends up back in the championship, highly unlikely but can't stand the man.

As for Roberto, as someone who wanted a change i am enjoying so far. However on saturday v Norwich the same cracks in our game were there for all too see, dominating yet coming away with a point, just like last season. I'm hopeful; that things will change but i'm under no illusion, it's going to take time.

I will be eternally grateful for restoring our pride when he first came and I was certain we were going down. Breath of fresh air at the time. But somehow in the last few year there were so many times he appeared to think we were not that much fun to manage any more which came across as being concerned more for his standing in the game than the good of the team. He never seemed quite to believe in the excellent team he has assembled. I dont expect any favours from him as such but the whole Baines /Fellaini thing just comes across as a bit unseemly. Not him wanting them as such but the whole weird double bid, low offer, late in the window thing. His strengths as a manager far outweigh his weaknesses but when he did the post match after losing to Lpool at Wembley and it was clear he thought we were only good enough to nick agoal and hang on for grim death I just thought where has the original Davie Moyes gone? I know the financial side of the club must be terribly frustrating but we are a boss club to be part of but he stopped feeling the love I guess.

I think in the end Moyes felt he had grown bigger than the club.

His attitude towards managing us definitely changed. I know it must have been frustrating not having the funds to really make another push on but he still was managing one of the biggest clubs in England, I don't think he realised how blessed he was.

Many people have said but he just didn't have the same love for the club we have and that's fine but his whole attitude led to the 'plucky everton' tag in my opinion.

I think we need to give it more than two weeks before we hop aboard the Martinez bandwagon personally. That's the mistake people made with Moyes, it's just too soon.

For me, I'm just happy the dour ginger tosser is gone, but that doesn't mean I'm in for a love in with Martinez - it feels like some of you are on the rebound and need any replacement going for "In Moyes We Trust"!

No mate. - just refreshed with the positive approach. May well turn out like Mike Walker.
