Two injuries (Delph and Andre) and a suspension by the end of matchweek 1 is proper crap luck though. Already having to turn to back-up for our back-up and playing Gbamin before he's had time to bed in.

A player who has struggled for years with injuries, a player who seems to go off after taking a whack in most games and a dope who loves a yellow card. It's annoying luck but it was also properly tempting fate as is pinning our hopes on Mina staying fit or Keane not contracting some weird disease from shaving his legs or whatever he did.

We need a fit gomes anyway for a start. Delph is better than morgan. Davis needs to keep possession this year as he cant keep giving it away. We need jp to deliever in his first season but willing to give him a month or 2 to settle in.

Yes, but there's a quality issue in midfield.

I said earlier that it MIGHT be a blessing in disguise in that it forces Silva's hand to change formations a little more.
