Carra the clown to get the push?

That interview is interesting. He concedes that what he did was vile, disgusting, etc. but he kept coming back to 'especially the `14 year old girl'. It's almost as if he is saying that had it just been the bloke in the car then spitting would have been acceptable.

Soccer Saturday may go something like this...

Jeff: Thomo, Jamie Carragher suspended for spitting. Not a good week to Carra.

Phil Thompson: Jeff, you're right, you know, and we've all been...it is, and I'll tell you, you know, Carra needs to, but it is, and we've all got an opinio.....but we know Jeff, it is and it was, but I'll tell ya, you know, bounce back, utd fan.

Don't you think it could have all been a bit staged Dave? Behind the scenes Carragher is told if he wants to keep his job it's got to look like he's getting a roasting on live telly, presenter is told to make it look good, sky hope this placates the public, they get to keep one of their 'top' pundits, Carragher gets to keep his job, or am I just being a tad cynical of Sky?
If it was I dont think there'd have been a constant returning to the question of whether he should resign or keep his job. That looked to me like genuine revulsion on her part at what he'd done and he looked cornered like a rat when it was put to him.

Sky will monitor the reaction now, but they'll be hoping he'll be able to ride it out and keep his job. He probably will do too.

But he's finished now in terms of credibility. Spitting is bad, spiting at a footy player or another feller would be just about recoverable from; but gobbing all over a 14 year old girl is just not going to go away.

I think he does that because he knows the potency of that image. That could do for him.

Like it or not, if a feller does that to a feller it's not going to get the same amount of revulsion as a man spitting in a kids face.

He knows that is utterly outrageous and he needs to try and "deal" with it.

Just shows you what kind of man he is. Anyone who;d done that and had a shred of decency would have just resigned and hid for years. The 'kin scumbag hasn't even got that in him.

Also, take a look at how Carragher rolls up there and takes his time looking into that car to clock the dad. He carefully weighs up if he can handle the feller if need be. That was not a spontaneous act of anger.

And if the dad had been thought capable by Carragher of snotting him he'd have kept his filthy sputum in his gob. Remember how he swerved Lucas Neil. Turd.

Crying at that bit hahaha.

This is what he should have done.
He’s lucky that lad was not some proper loon ball.
