Carra the clown to get the push?

The rag who goaded him was an utter bell end. Filming him on his phone whilst driving on the motorway, with his young daughter sat next to him. I hope he gets fined and points on his licence.
That said, absolutely no need for that reaction from the Bootle dolphin. Utterly disgusting thing to do and I would hope sky sack him. Unsure if they will though, they employ Giggs who's behaviour was far more reprehensible and they employ lots of repeat drink drivers and have employed wife beaters too.
On a side note, if any pundit was to get in trouble for spitting, I had my money on camelgob.
The rag ??? I don't understand what you mean ?

Sky'll be made up with him being national news all day, any publicity is good publicity, that's why they're milking it themselves. Would've cost millions for this advertising today.

A few of my observations about it are
a)Carragher is a slimy rat who thought he'd get away with this.
b)Carragher must have knew that the other fella was a shithouse and that's why he acted way over the top like a bully because a lot of people would have confronted him about his actions and yet he still went through with it and spat towards the young girl and he knows this.
c)The other fella was a shithouse imagine letting that prick spit on your kid and let him get away with it.
d)anyone apart from the family involved who're overly outraged by either Carraghers or the other mans behaviour and aren't just using the incident to berate Carragher is a really pathetic human who needs some real problems in their life so they can get things into perspective and stop being such a dreg on society.

This host is having none of it

He's squirming there. Granted, he's shown contrition and apologised unconditionally

He's been humiliated there by that woman and rightly so, but he takes the pummelling and keeps hanging in there because he refuses to resign and accept the consequences of his actions.

Just grow a pair and act like a man you pathetic 'kin toe rag. I've walked in and scraped better off my shoe than that horrible get.

I reckon they'll suspend him until the end of the season and quietly bring him back next season after a summer of spiritual rehabilitation and soulful healing. The RS mutants out there will praise his recovery whilst continuing their work into digging out something from the girls father's past that they can use against him.

In the minds of the nations civilised people however, his reputation is obviously tarnished forever. The pundit who spits on children...

I think he's first apology blaming it on being goaded has worsened the matter for him, the thick.

I see Neville jumping in saying he shouldn't be sacked.

Given Sky's undoubted sychophancy towards the top six, and Utd/RS in particular, he'll be back as an analyst shortly.

They are a cheer-leader for those clubs, and their agenda is Sky's agenda, which is what we see peddled incessantly and with unrelentless and unapologetic bias. I don't think they ever bothered to even attempt to hide it, when it is clear for all to see.

The Sky News interview was just factored in as a necessary PR exercise, to smooth the waters. A publicised ritual of remorse.

He'll be back on our screens in due course, this episode never again to be mentioned by Sky. It is ever thus.

Don't you think it could have all been a bit staged Dave? Behind the scenes Carragher is told if he wants to keep his job it's got to look like he's getting a roasting on live telly, presenter is told to make it look good, sky hope this placates the public, they get to keep one of their 'top' pundits, Carragher gets to keep his job, or am I just being a tad cynical of Sky?

WOW!!!
What fantastically uncomfortable viewing that was! He didn't know what to say, where to look, how to react or what to do for the best!
If he wasn't already out of a job before that interview, he is now. That interview will be showing for the next twenty years and will be every bit as uncomfortable in 2038 as it is today.
Koppites are Gob.....

That was like watching in car crash in super slo-mo!

Absolutely.

It was so cringeworthy!

Every time he got asked if he would resign he just kept dodging the question.

I'm assuming he did the interview to repair his reputation but it just backfired big time!
