As if you are still coming out with this, you no even if you are stopped at the lights and not moving you cant use your phone? In what world is being more interested in filming someone driving in your inside lane more important to you then your daughters safty? Why is he subjecting her to that? shocking parenting

This is a thread about Jamie Carragher's repercussions from Sky for bringing the company into disrepute, I think this sort of stuff belongs in the ale house lads.

Look, you obviously wish to be outraged about some fella using a camera at 2mph, fine, be outraged. I’m not........

That sky interview was painful viewing. Whilst his actions were horrible, I do feel a little sorry for him. He isn't one of my most hated RS players (despite the red card exemption he seemed to have) and I don't know about all the other stuff he's supposed to have done. However, there seems to be a zero tolerance attitude towards spitting whereas you can punch someone's light out (as per Gerrard) and that appears to be more acceptable - despite the potential for the latter to cause more serious damage. Plus, i'm not sure that he deliberately spat at the girl (as opposed to a generic phlegm towards the bloke).
Having said all that it was odious and, as someone said earlier, he should have made his apology and resigned there and then. As I said, the sky interview was painful viewing or maybe i'm just getting soft in my old age. still, anything that reflects badly on the self entitled tw*ts across the park, is no bad thing!

This is what he should have done.
He’s lucky that lad was not some proper loon ball.
A loon ball, who suddenly Carra got the phone number from as well too..
Probs from the press like, but I'd bet good money Carra's first instinct was to get his wallet out and pay this family off.

There is absolutely no defence whatsoever for what this halfwit has done. The fool himself says there are "no excuses," so he should do the right thing now and resign.
At best it's a disgusting thing to do and at worst it's common assault on a minor.
Even the most blinkered and narrow minded koppite can see that, never mind us Blues.

He's not thinking that way though is he.
He's probably not that bright outside of football.

That interviewer ragged him everywhere, no coming back from that, and when bells like Vinny Jones and Joey Barton are being quoted, you're bang in trouble.

Him and Neville are/were the best pundits on tele IMO so it's a shame he's done this.

Has to go and he's been stupid. But seeing him grovelling on TV isn't a good look

Such a shame it's not Vinny's family that's involved.
We may be discussing manslaughter on this forum rather than spitting if that was the case.
Fair play to Vinny for telling it like it is.

The fella driving/recording it is a bellend, hes spotted Carralaaaa and thought it will be a good idea to try and get a reaction, get a few likes or re tweets,Carralaaaaas reaction is completely over the top,how many of us go to away games and hear abuse far worse than some one shouting the result,if we reacted in that way it would be a criminal record and a ban, should he be sacked, thats not my decision, but if I owned a high profile company and one of the faces of said company done that Id have them straight out the door

I wonder how long after yoggerin on his daughter did it take Carra to think, "oh shiiiiii iiit" :dodgy:

He spat in the face of a child and then refuses to resign.

Just consider that for a moment. In what other walk of life would that low life still be able to walk around at liberty never mind have the choice of whether he wants to keep his job or not?

It's an utter 'kin scandal.

And btw, WTF are the coppers doing here in all this?
