And we have been. From top to bottom. It's not just the player or managers mate, It's symptomatic of the way the club has been run.

Must be honest very happy when this happens.

He comes in just before the window, can wheel and deal a little to ensure we get our CB, CM and striker. Then he has the entire second half of the season to sort out and chuck some of the crap we have, and buy again in the Summer, to ensure we are ready for 2020/2021 season.

If he came in in July next year, we probably would have a rebuilding season again, but with the benefit of this half of this season, and a full pre season before the start of the next one, Champions League football (too soon?) is a real possibility in 2021/2022...too optimistic?

We didn't but given the injuries we have and the fact we were playing a good side who are flying I thought we did ok. At least we showed some character to come back which a few weeks ago wouldn't have been there and we would have lost 3 or 4.
