I'd still give it to Distin. He may be new but he talks and organizes, certainly alot more than Hibbert, Yobo and Baines. It's needed, especially with Neville out.

Either him or someone who can make things happen, like Cahill or Pienaar, players who inspire there team mates. Yobo needs to concentrate on his own game, that's always been the case. He's not a leader.

Hard for Hibbert to talk with his jaw on the turf after getting schooled.

Fully agree Yobo is too quiet and Distin is more vocal but who's got the respect out on the pitch? Pienaar inspires by play. Cahill inspires by sheer will.

It's all short term anyway. I think actually Saha could take it for a game but he needs to be on the pitch. What was his mystery injury anyway?
