Digging the barrel, that the best they can find? Its like Talk Sport, twice recently on the news they have said quoted people saying the leagues have to be complete, one was at Forest Green and the other Northampton Town

There is no way this league season can be completed judging by what the Government said in today’s briefing,

They reckon the social distancing will have to continue till the end of the year and a tiny chance of a vaccine in the calendar year.

Unless football is played in empty stadiums for the next 10-12 months I can’t see football restarting for at least another 3 months to stop a potential second wave.

And if it does who will care and want to watch a game in an empty stadium on tv ???

Prayers needed please lads. As a few will know I posted a few weeks ago on this thread about the irrelevance of finishing this season in the context of the COVID impact on our ordinary family with some members voluntarily serving on frontline in NHS. Well our worst fears are now with us for real. My sister in law was diagnosed with COVID earlier this week at the Cheshire hospital where she works. Her condition has worsened dramatically since. She’s a mum of 2 young evertonians and she’s super fit and healthy. Paramedics treated her today and so now it’s over to Mother Nature and prayers for next 48 hours.
