Cancelling this season's Premier League

Should football be canceled until August and this season declared null and void?

They would literally have to fly to a privaye unibabited island as everywhere else has outbreaks in varying degrees.

Just bloody void the thing and concentrate on trying to get next season started, as if that cant start/finish on thime then there is another full season of TV rights that wont be getting paid (on top of whatever they have to pay back this season) which could send a few clubs into administration

Players will really look forward to playing in China I'm sure......

Is this the new one??

That’s as much a pipe dream as last weeks football festival, which predictably, quietly disappeared as quickly as it came.

Times are grim right now but I’m going to forget all the bad things that are happening and enjoy every moment of this when the inevitable happens.

I couldn’t have wrote it better myself with all these false dawns they’re giving them.

It’s quite clear where this is going and I‘ll be “unbearable”, to mirror a phrase they like putting on banners to rub everyone’s face in it, once null and void is confirmed.

See footballers have become the new immigrants/benefit scroungers scapegoats

Cant attack immigrants now as we are in the middle of a crisis and a large portion of our "NHS heroes" are immigrants - bad look

Cant attack 'benefit scroungers' when millions more are now in the same boat - bad look.

Yes I agree that they earn a ridiculous amount of money and should accept some reduction or give a large portion to charity (which they may already do), but to target them as the reason or blame them for non playing staff being laid off is a disgrace.

Why not target most of the billionaire owners of these clubs? Why not target millionaire bankers, CEO's of massive corporations or tax dodgers? Its because they are in the limelight and popular so it attracts attention and an easy target

The usual Tory slight of hand tactics of getting people to focus their anger and attention on a set of people whilst they are up to their usual evil tricks.

Try not to buy into these China rumours, UEFA wants the leagues back up in July, August and that's exactly what will happen.

You wish, the vaccine will take a month to test at least, and they dont even have one so far, unless you meant July 2022.
Nice try, you came close, but no cigar.

Mike Ashley tried to keep Sports direct open.
He got pelters.
He's now mugging his Newcastle FC staff off and that's why this has all been highlighted nationally, only my own opinion.
So that's now made the whole of football fair game, and in most cases, rightly so.
