He has been putting a good amount of hours in prior pre-season at Finch Farm. Looks like he's finally realised this is his last chance and getting his finger out.

He looks good. His crossing/passing has been excellent and he's so calm on the ball. I'd like to see more dribbling from him though. He's got it in his locker. The talent is definatly there

I'm not getting my hopes up though. Hopefully he can contribute this season.

Rodwell's passing is great today, like i said, VDM, Neville both playing well, Johnson missing a few good chances, but playing well, Juckiewitz is playing well, good heading etc...

...basically not much to complain about

I'm liking this O'Kane. Played well when he came on last week, and tidy again this week. Always trying to get in space, good passer, and good eye for a potential pass as well.

Rodwell's knocking the ball around well but we seem to be lightweight in front of the back four. Irving's having another tough game without a midfielder to back him up, but it's good experience for him.

Rat's going on - and on - about Lukas looking knackered - but I thought he suffered from a chronic viral infection when he was on loan last season - maybe it's something to do with that?
