Cambridge Utd Vs Everton

Rodwell's passing is great today, like i said, VDM, Neville both playing well, Johnson missing a few good chances, but playing well, Juckiewitz is playing well, good heading etc...

...basically not much to complain about
I would concur. I would also add that our passing game (yes at the back you heard me) is coming on, after what can only be called a shaky start.

We have strung some nice passes together. Andy continues to impress, Rodwell seems to be all over the place, and Lucas is a much taller lad than expected.

I must be going blind, even Neville is having a good game. Yes, I kow its Cambridge, and I know that its more about fitness, but to me pre-season is also about cementing your style of football, and Everton have begun to get that mixture of on the carpet, and some high balls, but interestingly aimed at someone and not just flung in the air like last season.

A fitness friendly, but bodes well. I expect a much higher performance on Tuesday.

I'm liking this O'Kane. Played well when he came on last week, and tidy again this week. Always trying to get in space, good passer, and good eye for a potential pass as well.

Rodwell's knocking the ball around well but we seem to be lightweight in front of the back four. Irving's having another tough game without a midfielder to back him up, but it's good experience for him.

Rat's going on - and on - about Lukas looking knackered - but I thought he suffered from a chronic viral infection when he was on loan last season - maybe it's something to do with that?

O'Kane looks very decent as he did last week. He can pick a pass and is good on the ball. Very promising. He looks better than Kissock anyway.

Ruddy makes a great save one on one

Thought you couldnt get the game live in America?

It was a good save, i rate Ruddy, hes better than Turner...

...Johnson should be doing abit more, Arteta will come on soon i should think
