Im still pissed off if im honest. I cant get it out of my head. The only difference now, 48 hours on, is that im not fighting the urge to choke people out.

Still fuming here. Its now a controlled fume though.

That first 2 mins?? Jesus kin christ. It was obvious we didnt do our homework on Costa. His movement off the ball is incredible. That first goal; the space he had as he was slipped in was embarrassing.

They are not poor mate, in fact they will likely be our main rivals for 4th this season.

Or maybe they are poor, but then we are poor also, and so are every club besides Chelsea and City. Wait, City lost at home to Stoke? They're wank too. And Chelsea shipped 3 goals after being gifted a 2-0 lead? All these teams are poor ffs.
 
If we play like we did against Chelsea against the other top sides, it is going to be a very tough season. While Lukaku is a good signing, I wish we had spent the cash on a couple of solid performers, such as Bony up top and Vlaar at the back, as solid premier quality options are preferable to one risky big signing at that price.

Bony would have cost £25 million though.

I've not read the entire thread only the opening post and while I understand what you are saying, I can't agree. This was meant to be the season we challenge the top 4 yet the last 2 games have shown why we simply are not good enough and will be a also ran ie 5th or 6th. It's ok saying the defence will get it together but my argument is they should already have it together. We have thrown away 4 points in the opening 2 games and quite frankly the defence is worrying. It's not just in the opening 3 games the signs where there in pre season yet we all said ignore pre season it's when the season starts it counts. Well the season is 3 games in and from 9 points we have 2 that is why we will not be in the champions league places come the end of the season its ok saying calm down but at the same time alarm bells are ringing and you would be very naive to ignore that fact. It's ok saying we are scoring goals but those goals have only got us 2 points and our 2 opening home games where against our challengers for champions leagure places and ultimately we have fallen short just like we will come the end of the season

I stand by this what I said back in August. Unacceptable.
 
My opinion hasn't changed either.

We will get it together, today we were just massively unlucky.

Still it's annoying how the one position we don't have quality cover for (RB) has bitten us in the arse so badly.
