I don't know about Chelsea being "lucky " but we were very unlucky with what was possibly the pivotal moment of the game....their third goal.

McCarthy and Seamus had enmeshed Hazard on the goal line and the best he could do was touch for a corner off the latter....when the ball hit Seamus it was going behind but seemed to swerve inside the post.

Up to that stage we looked more likely to score an equaliser than they were to score a third.

And we got unlucky again for the fourth....it was a tame enough shot which took a deflection past Tim.

And I make you right about a comeback still looking on at 3-5.... we never looked beaten until the 6th goal went in.

Re the officials you are right in saying they were terrible... but their most glaring mistake was in allowing Tim to stay on the pitch when he handled outside the box

We will play much worse this season and win games.

I don't seem to remember that being Moyes' last season...

Now, I'm no Moyes sympathiser. The way he's hang on to 1-0 leads against relegation fodder pissed me off, but he did know how to defend.

The relic you've dug up is not from his last few seasons, it does not represent the final product he left with the club. But then again, there were some steamers even then, but they were few and far between and they never represented a trend like the current team are.
