I'll state again. I have nothing against Martinez. I am so glad we have him instead of Moyes. I would never want him back. But he does lack a defensive tactic. It's the same problem he had at Swansea and Wigan.

Yep. its a small set and is not 100% going to be a reflecion of the overall situation.

Its very easy to throw around talk of systems and state as factfact that we used Moyes system last season but what exactly was Moyes system then? And what told you we used d the same one last season? And what exactly tells you we have NO system now?

Can you also explain how Martinez neglects the defence? Do you have insight into his training session and tactical meetings?

Did you miss John Stones playing pretty well in a run of games last season....in the first team of all places? The first team he is apparently not ready for.

Yes. The fact we've had a terrible preseason and first three games.

Stones never had a game where he didn't make an embarrassing mistake last season.

That's it from me. I need to go to bed. Apparently I need to apply for a new manager's job somewhere in Europe :P

Except a bad preseason and three poor games doesn't prove anything.

It could be a bad patch due to many factors, couldn't it? ..the answer is yes, it could.

Youve ignored anybody pulling you up on stating opinions as factsand just replied to bits of comments and now cant back up your baseless chat about systems.

Good night to you, hopefully youll learn a bit about being a reasonable.football fan someday and lessen the nonsense posts.
 
We won eight games in a row last season with stones playing. There is a bit more pressure on the centre halves with Martinez because they have a lot of the ball which wasn't as key under moyes so there is more responsibility. I think jags has struggled since his injury and his confidence is a bit shot. I also think that stones is better suited to martinez"s styles. But let's not forget we lost 2 goal in the 1st 3 mins which turned the on its head. Some of our attacking play was great but tactically it would be a task for any team playing Chelsea 2 down. Also they look 2 step better than did last yr. we will come good COYB'S
 
Stones looked our best defender last season, ok the guy made a few mistakes but experience will teach him how to improve his game. Jags looks bloody hopeless this season and I think the nightmare world cup has taken its toll. Distin is not good enough alongside Jags and mistakes are unfortunately happening too often.
 
Chelsea will never get that lucky again, everything they hit seem to fly in.
The ref and linesman where completely woeful 1st 40 minutes.
Jags will get his confidence back. (If not Stones will cover)
even at 3-5 i had hope we could come back,
we have played 2 of the top 4 in the 1st 3 games, we will improve.
now chill the [Poor language removed] out.
