Cahill's red against Newcastle

If memory serves me right, Cahill has only been sent off for us once before - against City on his debut for a second booking celebtrating his goal! He doesn't really get mad and do direct confrontation, usually gets his sly digs in the heat of the battle. So Cabaye must have said something nasty to push his buttons.

He was sent off in a Derby game at Goodison a few seasons ago.
As for the ballboy incident We could hear the thud of the lad as he was shoved back into the advertising hoarding behind him.[/QUOTE]

Did he? I'll take yer word for it and admit my memory is screwed. What did he do in the derby match?

It was for a tackle I recall, can't remember who on though

Today's referee was appalling. Made a rod for his own back booking people early.. then had nowhere to to go.
Loved how the goal silenced those fat Geordies...they just love themselves, but I would suggest not buying a period return for Europe. They won't last long. Well hammered.

From what I saw the Newcastle player snatched the ball of him and pushed him down on his arse against the advertising hoarding. The paddock were fuming as the linesman and ref did nothing. Poor kid. Surprised he wasn't in tears to be honest. Then when the ball went out in the same area a few minutes later, the same player decided to swear and gesture at the unhappy Everton fans, hitch aggregated the situation more.

I genuinely thought about 15 people were going to hop the small barrier and weigh him in.

I thought it was Ben Arfa but I'll be honest it could have been Cabaye.

Cracking game and brilliant day. Good atmosphere.

Just the 3 , Johnny and Baines for us , Tiote for them .

Oooof. A good friend of mine had 3.5 bookings or more.

So will that red card count?

Just been reading a match report (Guardian) and TopffeDan reckons the ballboy incident was 8 mins from end of 2nd half ?

there was this...

In australia raising your hand sharply to someone's neck is a gesture of friendship, between friends it's accepted.
