Cahill Hints at Exit

He gives people a lift when he comes back to the team. Players think, great Tims back! Boosting their morale, I think tims influence is mental more than physical.

I swear to god I track him constantly throughout 90 minutes of each game and he just doesnt get involved enough, whether that be in central midfield OR behind the striker/s. But there's no doubting when the ball falls to him he's good at sticknig it away, but the position he plays involves much more than scoring goals, which is why I'm not a fan.

I honestly think he's improved over the last two games, his involvement especially and he hasn't shied away.

Anyone who's read my posts would know I'm not his biggest fan but I'll happily admit he's improved. He wanted it yesterday and if he plays like that week in week out we need him in the team.

I was getting sick of him, especially in that second striker role. He doesn't work as hard as he should in that role. When he's in midfield he works ten times harder as he did yesterday.

Agreed mate!

I agree the past 2 matches he was involved in alot of attacking moves, moving about into space to get the ball and pass it forward or to the other wing. He also looks abit more composed on the ball the past few matches, taking on a few players etc...

I think Timmie needs a confidence boost. He isn't hitting the target like in years past. Same could be said of Arteta and the brillance he can bring. They both look so lackluster this year I just don't understand it. I keep waiting to see improvement but I'm not seeing it so far.

Still attracts the ball like a magnet - he could and should have had 3 or 4 in the last two games. Some players just know where to be where and when it matters. Only a matter of time before he starts scoring again.

Tim will come good. We've had a lot of injuries and too long a period of poor form. I still believe we will get through this and start to move on. Tim is starting to show some of his form is returning. It will build when confidence starts to return to the team.

returned to playing at top level too soon. Was not and still is not fully recovered from his injury problems. As for Lescott being awful as I have said before he is played out of position. Would you enter a donkey to win the Derby??
