If Burnley infer they would have stayed up if the points deduction we got had been applied to the same season, then that won't wash.

There is no other case it's preposterous that they can claim we got one over on them illegally on the pitch 21/22.

I think somebody, as some point, suing the Premier League becomes an increasng possibiity - maybe even is countersuing for the losses if we don't win the appeal.

Let's be honest, they don't care the slightest about us, but Khaldoon Al Mubarak's interview last week was very robust, saying he can't wait the results of the 115 charges against City being made known so that after three years he can have his say. Rightly or wrongly, there is no way the Premier League win a fight with City - they already shown they will back off, with that measly fine for Chelsea.

Russian invasion of Ukraine could have been used for the second year we got charged but it wouldn't have affected the first charge.
