Burnley Case

So everyone can now sue City and Chelsea etc?
Where does it end. Hell let's sure Liverpool for Heysel and our European ban that cost us at least two European cups, what was the financial cost to us.

We must have very bad lawyers. Can City lend us there's for the appeal because if we lose it, then I'd imagine they will need to sell Abu Dhabi to pay the fine they receive.

Are we all forgetting we broke the rules here before wishing liquidation on Burnley?

Like to think if the shoe was on the other foot we'd take the cheats to the cleaners.

Just a shame we're crap at cheating like we are at everything else.
No, but we've been punished already and now being punished again.

Whereas everyone else have gotten off relatively lightly.

We've absolutely been made an example of.

I wonder if this was the reason it was reported we only had 50m to spend. It could be the club knew of this, and the club is taking it out of the summer transfer kitty.

I don’t get how Burnley even have a case. It’s like a plodder who wouldn’t have gotten out of the heats suing Ben Johnson for robbing them at the Olympics!
Ha of all the examples you use..... That Olympic final, every single one of those finalists including Linford Christie got done for some sort of PED.

But I get your point. This seems so ridiculous

Ok. With that being said: what was the reasoning or evidence presented that there was an unfair sporting advantage? Curious at this point. One team's financial irregularities are tantamount to heresy and treason, (ours) and another team's can be explained away as book keeping quirks and a little self imposed reflection will suffice as punishment. ( anyone else).
I'm not justifying it, my views are irrelevant. The best thing to do would be to read the reports. But the fact is the original report, and all of them since, have said there was a sporting advantage, and it obviously plays a large role in this new decision. It's always worth correcting people when they repeat the original misunderstanding though because the more people understand what's happened properly, the more people see why it's bad.

We used the same company as City for the original charges.

What was the sporting advantage?
Not being able to sell Sigurdsen or not being able to predict the Russian War?

The shoe is on the other foot, we have lost points and league placings to Man City and Chelsea’s cheating, I assume you are suggesting we have a case to pursue them for millions upon millions of lost earnings here?
