@Garrick I'm also sick of your wind up threads

I found out recently that I'm very likely eligible for Italian citizenship via jus sanguinis?

They have some strange law in order to bring in more white people reverse demographic shifts that allow foreigners of Italian descent to apply for citizenship. There's only one real question on regarding when my great grandfather got his American citizenship, then I just need to get the documents, translate 'em, and drop them off at a consulate and I'm a dual citizen.

Which is a long way of saying THIS ENTIRE THREAD HAS BEEN A THREE YEAR LONG WIND UP. Y'ALL BEEN PLAYED.

I suppose this means I'm gonna have to like, learn something about Italian football calcio now, huh. And maybe learn Italian. And actually visit the country. All very exhausting.

He's a smart guy, right? He's also a bit arrogant too, right? I'm for it.

Also, @Garrick I think it's time to start a new thread, or rename this one.

"Pulisic Slots while Washington Burns: USMNT Super Thread"

We can laugh all we want but isn't it sad it sounds pretty nice to have a US player as an option for our squad, since we know he won't get hurt in the World Cup?

I think if Allardyce is appointed there would be an outrage over here. I don't think most self-respecting supporters would want him due to his history of corruption.

Certainly I wouldn't turn my nose up to him but he is at his best a relegation scrapper of a manager and we need a long term option that will build our federation from the ground up over the next five years.

Allardyce is tailor-made for job like USMNT in my opinion, you lot could do a lot worse. Many over here would take him back as England manager in a heartbeat, purely for the comedy value. One thing we've lacked for many years is simply an identity and Allardyce would definitely have given us that. Your media will love his personality whereas ours couldn't wait to p*ss on his head.

Seeing Big Sam sat on the sidelines with a bottle of beer and tucking into a big steak with chips (fries) celebrating a win afterwards will be a sight straight out of a newspaper sketch.

he's awful what we need now. we need to rebuild the program not scrap by. It might have made sense to come in for jurgen to right the ship during qualifying but not now. we need a manager with a long term vision. sadly I don't think we will. Ian Darke reporting we are interested in Martin o'neil

O'Neill is no better than Allardyce. In fact I rate Sam as a better manager, least nowadays. O'Neill has only ever had one big job with Aston Villa and managed one good season before his mistakes with transfers led to their collapse a few years later. He's a chronically overrated manager and always has been.

Aren't they the same age anyway? If you're after a younger guy to stick around for quite a few years then maybe someone like Michael O'Neill from Northern Ireland.

The reports are actually of Michael O'Neil; I believe @USABlue is mixing Martin up with Michael... Which I just did the same a moment ago.
