The conversation was about police tactics. In general before that. They didn’t just use dogs against the rioters. They used the dogs against everyone there. Dogs aren’t targeted.

From what I saw, and I've just watched about 10 videos, many of them showing duplicated scenes, the police didn't just let the dogs loose on the rioters/demonstrators. They were all under the control of their handlers. It wasn't indiscriminate.

We often complain in this country of the lack of police powers or presence but the moment they do try and enforce something such as in this case dispersing people after 3 days of violence, damage, arson etc people are happy to flip the coin and say the shouldn’t be doing this also...

I've been against the gatherings and people being idiots, mate. Not against the right to protest, but gatherings, and the idiots doing illegal/violent stuff.

But I've seen videos of people being beaten up by police.

That's not on either.
