They both spoken very confidently, look in tune and at ease with one another and frankly like a relationship has been growing for longer than a few weeks.

Would have been good to see Baxendale there.

I also think, as has been suggested here, lots out and some in. I am happy with that, fill the key positions, use the younger players returning from loan and possibly one or 2 of the lads from the 23's to pad the squad out, and maybe look for some cheaper/younger European players.

(Allowance for 2 guys who aren't fitting in anymore)

Something like that I would imagine. Cannot see anyone taking Bolasie, Mccarthy, Martina, Klaaasen (will be given a chance tbh), Mori this summer (doubt hed be available for sale).

Schneiderlin maybe. But you would think we would probably buy first. And WillyC looks off to Dontesk to replace Fred. So unfortunately he probably stays.

Will there be bits and pieces that we didn't get to see in the press conference, but from the post conference interviews they did that went on for a few hours, be realeased in articles in the next 24 hours? Normally the case with in season PCs but they come out later that day/night a lot of the time and nothing so far

People hearing what they wanna hear and seeing what they wanna see. They gave absolutely nothing away, other than maybe Marco slipping up that Rooney is deffo gone.

Agree on this but there does seem to be a bit of a positive vibe about right now, which is a good start
