I can't imagine McCarthy will go. Every manager that has been here since he was bought has shown patience because of how decent a player he is.

:Blink::Blink::Blink::Blink:

He's been injured for nearly two full seasons and therefore no team in their right mind would pay a penny for him. That's the reason why he's not going anywhere.

i could see him going to Celtic. Club would happily take a hit now surely just to free up the wages.

I can see why Celtic would take him on a free. I cannot see how / why they would pay a transfer fee for a player currently recovering from a double leg break.

Celtic are proper peasants, they don’t deal in cash. They’ll probably give us first refusal on Leigh Griffiths. x

For pre-match and that, we don't bother - too much time for so little. Can do the same job at home/wherever with an internet connection.

Go to post-match ones when on game duty like.
is that thro vavel mate?

The press conference was very predictible but it was very good for supporter morale.

Whether you think Allardyce did his job or not nobody can deny it was soul destroying having him as manager. Supporting the club felt like work. Dour, negative, small minded, ambitionless lump sat there breathing like a pig in every press conference. Then there was the football which Vinnie O'Conner mentioned a few months too late. Lowest shots, shots on target and chances created in the league.

It's easy to get carried away and build up Marcel and Marco based on nothing but at least you can feel enthusiastic about Everton again now.
This.

Despite the insistence of a few Allardyce die hards ( @Kev The Rat knows who I`m talking about ), going / watching the match under Allardyce, had become a torturous duty, rather than something to look forward to.

At least now there`s a feeling of optimism surrounding the club.

Who knows if it`ll all work out, but at least we have now have something to look forward to.

Or most of us do lol
