Just read all that here and its abundantly clear they have been briefed by the same person and told that the protest is about signing players etc.

If they asked the people behind it what the reason is they would be told that THE CLUB IS MIS-MANAGED FROM TOP TO BOTTOM, POOR COMMERCIAL DEALS ARE GONE INTO, SOON TO BE THREE FAILED GROUND MOVES, ADVISOR'S THEY USE ARE USELESS and BECAUSE THEY CANT SELL THE CLUB FOR THE PRICE THEY WANT THE WHOLE CLUB IS STAGNATING.

It is annoying that on both occasions, he hasnt been able to expand his points, either due to phones dropping off, presenter rants, and presenter ignorance.

Will be ace when/if he is afforded the courtesy.

What's annoying is that so many fans don't see (or maybe it's just acknowledge...hoping it goes away) what he's alluding to...it's been a pattern for over a decade.

And an article in the Irish Independent.....

Banner boys unfair to Blue Bill's Everton achievement

The anti-Bill Kenwright banner Everton fans flew over St Mary's on Saturday was very disappointing.

I think most Everton fans are used to being disappointed around transfer time. This summer I have been very happy with Everton's transfer business. They didn't spend much - no surprises there - but no players were sold either.
How can anyone write that an genuinely mean it? So in other words, we didn't progress but hey lets be happy we have stagnated and not deteriorated. That right there is a business plan for disaster.

I'm tired of reading that the board hasn't taken a penny out of the club. They've also not invested their own money and if you have no financial interest in something then it's reasonable to think that you'd have little motivation to improve the prospects as you don't stand to lose anything apart from pride.

That Mail article is just a rehash of Martin Samuels gushing tribute to Bill from the same paper just prior to the first march.
I expect the journo will be getting the full VIP treatment at Goodison on his next visit. Give him Big Nev's seat.

I have phoned Radio 5Live and asked if Ian Wright would like to comment on his assertion 2 weeks ago that Stones would definitely be sold.

I'm hoping they're going to get me on so he can answer.
Good point, but as you know he'll spin that into a complete vindication of the board

Dear Esk.

Can you ask him to clearly indicate why him and his mate Robbie Savage are so insistent that players under contract think they call the shots rather than the club (and indirectly the fans) who are paying their huge wages. Including when said players get injured.

Thanks.
