No I wasn't going to question Moshiri's crudentials mate. I was going to make a couple of points - the team inherited by Koeman is substantially weaker than we previously thought both in playing terms but particularly mentally - I was going to go into detail on that point, and then secondly:

The board really has to step up in every sense providing all that is necessary for player recruitment in Jaunary and the summer, and see to matters off the pitch so we don't enter next season without much improved commercial terms and of course, much greater progress on the stadium front. If Moshiri feels the current board and management are unable to address those issues he should take action now to remove and replace the failing parts.

seriously mate, if you believe any of that is going to happen you are continuing to delude yourself, Moshiri AND Kenwright are like a Mike Ashley Vincent Tan tribute act, combined with the Dutch Joe Kinnear in charge of footballing affairs it has absolute disaster written all over it. Have your sources told you Andy Carroll is ours yet? because that is what is coming in January him and Chris Martin from Fulham.......nothing will be the same.

Hasn't the general thinking so far this season been that they are mentally tougher? The City game was apparently the one to underline that. I don't think after a mauling which was the managers fault for going like for like with Chelsea that belief can be veered away from in a hurry.

This squad are what they are: a top half class team that RM struggled to get them into in his last couple of seasons. I expected (and expect) the manager to coach what he's inherited adequately and add a competitive edge to them, which along with the decent signing of Gueye should be more than doable.

A new GK and adequate stand in for Lukaku is all he needs in January.

Seriously mate, I'm not deluded, I've seen plenty to suggest we are getting the most amazing stadium at BM and the team will receive heavy investment - best this continues in the Moshiri thread or board thread

We need that and a few others next summer. This summer we left ourselves exposed though and January should be about rectifying that. If we do then we can retain our present position. If not, we'll stand a good chance of another dispiriting bottom half finish...and that is something morale will take an almighty knock from.

Saw enough today mate that we will finish 7th, the gulf between us and the top 6 is big, the gap between us and the rest is much closer but still there, mainly due to us having a title challenging calibre striker mind and a top class cm in gueye.
