You laugh mate, but get an ale license and you’ll make a fortune. Those are so popular in Germany, Prague.
Not sure if anyone at the club or council thought to do this survey about 3 years ago.
Anybody want to go into business? All that's really needed is an empty warehouse.I am thinking about investing in a couple of tuk tuk's,* make an absolute killing!? I just hope it doesn't turn into a shiny new mausoleum!!
*I will be expecting financial compensation when someone eventually does.
They are a great idea. Super little business opportunityYou laugh mate, but get an ale license and you’ll make a fortune. Those are so popular in Germany, Prague.
I’ll do it today.Be pretty easy for someone just to submit a FOI to the council to ask about communications with the club, Mersey Rail and other partners around transportation planning for the new stadium...
Its unbelievable that after 5 years of planning that it doesn't appear that to have been considered that this could be a problem. The supporters groups should get a petition going to get rid rid of the Mayor over this, then things will change…….
What you thinking near Old Hall Street, Rigbys? The Cross Keys? Fancy drink with amazing views at Gino’s Sky Bar?Few scoops at some of the nice pubs Moorfields/Old Hall Street way then a relaxed ramble by the waterside.
Prefer that to being packed like a sardine with a load of dars anyway.
Just a shame there aren't any nice boozers on the way to break up the 30 min walk.
I do get what you're saying and I'm not saying that some services shouldn't be introduced to give more options, but I do think it's straying into entitlement territory to expect like a door to door service from every part of the city. If you have to go into town or somewhere else first to make your way there then that's what you have to do isn't it, we can't really expect the club or the council to get you directly to the ground from wherever you live.
I’m impacted by this and while I agree to some extent @Lanolin, the issue is there is no direct public transport from these areas like there is to Goodison - even a bus. As @Furey1878 said, that is a huge amount of traffic to add to the additional high numbers of people that are heading to the city centre.I do get that mate. But from a traffic and capacity POV, do you really want to funnel everyone who doesn't live on a trainline to town first? Basically if there were any train lines that went out east from the city centre I wouldn't even bring it up.
