Not sure if this has already been mentioned, if so apologies. For fans coming in from outside the city boundary both Broadgreen and South Parkway have car parking. From either station you can get the train into town. Not ideal but something to consider as, it appears, parking within a reasonable walking distance of the stadium is going to be in short supply.

I get that this poll isn’t exactly scientific..

But if 16% of people head to Sandhills after the match, that is approx 8 thousand people. The trains carry, maybe 450? And run every 15 mins? (Less than that on a normal Sunday).
I appreciate people will be travelling both directions, but even so.. feels like could be a long wait unless they run some soccer specials.

I get the 919 special bus from outside St George's Hall to Goodison and then back again after the game so I'm hoping this service continues to BMD next season.

If not I'll get the train to Lime St, walk over to Central and get the train to Sandhills and mooch the rest of the way.

Not sure why Moorfields sent isn't mentioned much , it's way better than the anticipated crush at Sandhills.

Fairly decent walk with a short cut accross Costco and a few pubs on the way.

It's defo my preferred route.

Few scoops at some of the nice pubs Moorfields/Old Hall Street way then a relaxed ramble by the waterside.

Prefer that to being packed like a sardine with a load of dars anyway.

Just a shame there aren't any nice boozers on the way to break up the 30 min walk.

Get a win in, then make your way back to town, stopping at the Puffin Rooms for a cigar and some whiskey, while jazz plays in the background. Wonderful.

It’s half closed isn’t it? Walking into town a Saturday? Are you MAD?
