Footage from inside the bus. Nah, only a couple people throwing things.

Despicable comments from a truely despicable individual. Thompson claims that his comments were a "joke" but there's a very serious and sinister side to this story. He made his comments in the full knowledge that the press would report them and thus was appempting to smear us, all the while knowing that the same press would never mention the fact that it was meant to be a "joke". It was the calculated act of a horrible individual who's about as funny as STD.![]()
This reply, obviously from a RS:
"it was mostly eggs and powder bombs. It was the moronic non fans who threw a bottle/can which smashed the window. The rest is [Poor language removed] normal for a big European game"
If the shoite get through I have heard part of their ground will be closed as a punishment in the semi, as well as a large fine.
Yep. "Urchins" "irregulars" - if anyone before thought I was joking about them acting and seeing themselves like paramilitaries then I can underline right now I wasn't joking.I think the biggest problem for them is how eager they are to prove themselves to each other.
Who can smash a window on the mancs bus? Who can steal the most tickets in Athens? They have a culture over there which celebrates the people who do this as being some sort of heroes. They don't think the usual laws apply to them because they're Liverpool.
Can you just imagine if that was their team bus going into The Etihad last night? Petitions to get the game replayed, bullets in the post...
Thank you. I'm all for a good redpoop bashing but this is what I don't like about today's culture especially centered around twitter. I don't think any self respecting person should go out of their way to get another person fired. Childish in my view.Seriously, some people need to get a grip if they got offended by that joke of a tweet.
I think it's even worse than that tbh. The "joke" that he made has the same undertones of the fantasy Liverpool fans spewed after Heysel, in which it was a bunch of undercover Cockneys who caused all the trouble. I think that was the angle of his joke, trying to subtly connect the two.
The "always the victims, never our fault" tag in which they've been given is something they are incredibly proud of. Caught on camera offences mean nothing to them, deny deny deny gets them out of everything, every time.
