Blues blamed for City bus damage

You have to question the mentality of people who go to watch a game of football and do what Liverpool fans have just done. It wasn't a few fans either it was hundreds, it was planned and pre meditated, opposing players should fear going to an away ground only because of the team they are playing. Not because idiot, thuggish fans are out to intimidate or hurt them.

Must admit Liverpool have a very good, exciting team, that has now been forever tarnished by the minority of actual thugs that support them. What worries me is if they can get away with this, what will they do next time ? And where will it end.

The hooliganism of the seventy and eighties is or should be behind us now, but there are people out there who will look at this and see if Liverpool get away with it..... Sadly it makes me ashamed to have to share the same city as them as we as scousers are tarnished with them.

One other thing, I watched the game and I can understand ex players getting booed, especially when they have left controversially like Sterling, or if the opposing player has cheated / dived or done a really bad tackle on one of your players. But what was the continual, orchestrated booing of City players just trying to play football ? Sometimes fans go a bit to far last night was one of those occasions, left a bad taste.

Too many of them struggle with the impartial requirement of being a pundit. Basically if you can refrain from being a massive baiting kopite whopper you can have a well paid job chatting wham about football yet so many of them can’t even achieve that.
I don't get it, if your being well paid to be a journalist of sorts, why even go there on social media, not as bad as carragher, but these fellas are grown men getting that wound up about footy they have to point score/react like a 16 year old on cheap whizz

Good shout mate. I watched the game also and the best side won easily even if they did defend deep in the second half (otherwise known to those very selves as 'parking the bus'). On a serious note I find their behaviour vile, forever banging on about the injustices of Hillsborough and yet literally yards away from the memorial you get that thuggish scum attempting and succeeding in behaving like Galatasaray all those years ago when they paraded the 'Welcome to Hell' banner. They're aggressive beyond belief and last night makes my blood boil. I know every club has its idiots but they seem to have this aggression that goes beyond. When I used to go away all over the country some of my most frightening moments were at Anfield and I'm afraid that element is still there. I don't hate them because they have more success than us but because of the way they are.

That latest tweet.....it is totally unapologetic.

Not content with blaming the “national newspapers” and insinuating that some people are thick for “falling for it”, he goes on to use the hashtag #getasenseofhumour in the post script.

He says RM have “advised” him to give the derby a miss.....that is code for they told him he would not be working at Goodison on Saturday.

Such a horrible little man.
