I'm glad someone has brought that up.
Ha.
The general defence the Kenwright backers have is 'But look at Leeds! But look at Portsmouth!'
It's never 'Look at Chelsea! or 'Look at City!' or 'Look at Arsenal!'.
The man is a blatant liar.
I'm amazed Goodison is still standing, Kenwright said it was losing it's safety certificate years ago. Care to explain that one?
The man was going to move us to a flat pack stadium in a Tesco car park and even then it got laughed off by the government.
As I've said, he is a stain on our proud history. Hopefully it can be rubbed out in the coming years.
Could have been worse is not a defence. No its not. The general defence is that it could have been a lot worse, and it really could have been. Realistically he has done an average job but people seem to think that he should have done loads of fantasy stuff that has no basis in reality.
The overreaction is laughable. I am getting used to this though as our club has changed.
The part I was referring to was look what happened to Leeds.Do you not get how ridiculous that point is?
We literally mortgaged absolutely everything we had, you're actually proving the opposite of what you're trying to say.
I never said he was perfect. He himself admitted he was unsure if he was up to the job. Maybe he's just lucky the way things have panned out, but, regardless of what went before, the future has not looked so bright since the time we were Champions and yet to be banned from Europe. You might say the bright future is despite Bill being Chairman but at least allow the man to bask in how good things have now become under his watch.Ha.

Out of interest which chairmen/owners have done a better job at there clubs in over the period of time that Kenwright was in charge at Everton?Could have been worse is not a defence.
I'm judging him on the things he HAS done, you're judging him on the basis of other clubs predicaments.
Your 'defence' is laughable.

Bill gets a free pass from me.
Deep down he wants this club back where it belongs,he knew his limitations so brought in Moshiri.
