The buck stops with the manager though thats football now - you can not sell a squad of players unless you have Man City money and even then it would take 2-3 seasons. Those justifying getting shot of our players over a bloke who's record in england at 3 clubs is shocking is baffling.

If we were under Guardiola I would agree however we are under Marco Silva and if it takes getting him out the door in giving us a chance of actually going to the games and enjoying the football and seeing us win more than we lose then he has to go.

I didn't say anything about selling all the players first

You've got the Sack The Manager blinkers on so you can't even discuss any related subject properly

The players also deserve their fair share of blame for the mess now and since Martinez 1st season finished. 0% blame is just silly

I'll only blame the players if they have downed tools or are not good enough.

Neither applies to the above- the players are still putting in a shift and they are better than being in the bottom 3 clubs on form and losing games to sides like Millwall.

The constant mistakes and goals from set pieces

The lack of a Plan B

The poor attacking fluidity

The lack of motivation

It all points to the manager.

Whats funny is that yourself and others who rate managers like Martinez and Silva because of how they play tippy attacking football - dont you realise by persisting with these managers who are actually not very good at it - all it does it turn the fanbase away from this ethos and ultimately push us towards a Koeman/Alladyce?

Its annoying because I want attacking football more than anyone however there has to be progress and balance and we are seeing neither.

If we give this fella another season - we'll continue this run and mark my words the fans will champion the polar opposite of this style and we'll end up with a Sgt hoofball.

Get rid and get a replacement good enough in to sort this club out.

I think there is a fundamental problem within the club from the top to the bottom and more worryingly the mentality. It's simply part of the mentality of the club to be small time and I'm starting to now worry that Moshiri doesn't have a clue. There needs to be a whole lot of things addressed at Everton, sacking Silva isn't going to change a thing!

tHE MANAGER IS TO BLAME

25 PLAYERS DONT SUDDENLY ALL BECOME CRAP OVERNIGHT
Yet it's happened to Martinez Koeman and seems to be happening again at the moment. There is something rotten within Everton causing unrest amongst the players, 3 managers now and it's the same old story, start well and get crapper and crapper, it's not that long ago we were ahead of United and going well, then the Derby happened and it's been horrific since. Something causes it over and over again, so you have to look at who's been at the club for these 3 mentioned managers, you have Baines, Jagielka and Coleman as the players and coaching side there's Duncan Ferguson, which is who my money would be on.

There's another couple threads full of your bash the manager posts....we get it.

The players do share some of the blame though. It's just normal in football.

If fans prefer crap percentage football because it makes them feel safer then that's their prerogative. Not for me. We will hopefully get it right with one of these managers and not regress. And hopefully the majority of our players will decide to turn up for a full season for once.

If that really was the case, one of the managers or chairman etc would have got rid of them by now

80% the players as no manager is infallible.

They seem to start off playing well under every manager and then totally drop off.

The players are mentally weak which is clearly shown with the RS result and on pitch performances.

Under Martinez, Koeman, Unsworth, Allardyce and now Silva its the exact same story...no matter which managers you dislike theres no way 5 totally different managers cant get a tune from.these players....it makes no sense.

Theres literally no heart in the team and the only players who seem to care are Kenny, Davies and Digne...Richarlison too but is way off form now and probably sick of the bottlers around him.

Whats needed now is a massive overhaul in the summer...

I would like to get the ball rolling by saying that so called loyal players Jags Baines and Coleman have turned in some shocking rubbish and never seem to show that they really give a crap when things have been bad.

Not sure they are near blame considering age and injury. Gilfy or Walcott are seasoned pros who offer little in the leadership compared to the three you mentioned when at their best. 60% players for me. The likes of Gilfy Walcott need to stand up and lead!

me but most of it rests on Silva, He picks the team he trains them he tells them what to do he sets the formation.

the players effort levels seem to have dropped from the start of the season, not sure what that relates too

might be tactical as a high press for these players would be hard to stick with for a full season or theyve downed tools on him

im sure once silva has gone we might find out

walcott is just the worst, he actually makes sure hes marked when coleman/kenny have the ball. hes not interested at all

Difficult to blame players just because they are not very good. Bad attitude/not being arsed is a different thing to being incompetent. I’m in the “most of them are bang average” camp, so no matter how hard they try, it’s not going to be good enough for Everton.

He is 29/30. Worryingly wants to be attacking coach when playing days finish which he reckons in 5/6 years time! Your right he offers littles maybe carrying an injury and not 100%, then we have other options! Just a mess. Jonjoe has given us some substance on the right!
