Billy's future

You do realise that retaining possession and pass completion rate are different things don't you? That article is from January, it also debunks your whole reason to play him if were using them stats, as his shooting accuracy is less than Pienaar's!

Do you have a stat, opta boy, for the amount of times he sh*ts himself on the ball and the opposition player easily dispossess him of it?

Good God. Is it just me? Please someone tell me if it's just me?

Not just you. There was one game this past season where he got easily dispossessed and his response was to fall chest first onto the ball and pray. That pretty much was the last straw for me.

Bily's nail in the coffin for me came when he played against Reading in the cup. For me it was a chance for him to show us finally what he could do against Championship side and boy did he show his many talents... His passing accuracy was exceptional it seemed like every pass landed at the feet of a Reading player, he showed very little fight didn't track back as Kebe was ripping us to shreds and Bily pranced about like a deer in headlights for the entire time he was on the pitch.

He is just 100% not suited for the English game he isn't ever going to get the time and space he wants to dictate a match like he can do internationally for Russia or has done in the Russian league.

I would love him to come good but I just can't see it ever happening he lacks quick feet and trickery to create space for himself and defensively he's worse then Osman at least Osman puts his foot in.

Lid, I've gave you a whole list of reason why he's not gonna make it. All you've come back with is he has a boss shot from long range. Keep digging like.

Anyone who has half a football brain and has watched him play for us for the past two seasons can see he's so not suited.

You hear what you want to hear. We're just going round and round with this. The chances are that Moyes will get rid, but I think that because he doesn't suit the way that Moyes wants to play, not because he's not a good player.

If he's STILL coming off the bench after these games, or being subbed out in games, indicates a larger issue for me. That's plenty of time to make your mark. He didn't. Training must also not go so great for the kid. You're good, you go the full 90.

We know that Moyes has his favourites. If Saha is half fit, he'll play ahead of Beckford, even when he didn't score for over a year. It's extremely rare for the gaffer to sub Arteta, Cahill or Fellaini, so Bily is most often up against Coleman and Osman for a place in the side. If something needs changing Bily will make way even if he's doing as well as the regulars. Moyes doesn't pick players based on form.

This is an excuse. You force your coach to play you with your actions. The others have put up (in particular Coleman and Osman), Bily has not.

Bily looked ace in the v-neck top..in his first game when he swung those boss corners in.

Now he is just a punch drunk has been. I'd rather play with ten men and a pumped up Goodison than 11 with Bily. There I said it.

Moyes had no option but to use those players because everyone was injured. Once people came back they found themselves more peripheral again.

Well done on bringing an assertion in to try and back up your ridiculous claims.

Sigh. The majority of people will admit that Moyes has his favourites. What exactly are my ridiculous claims? I've heard no hard evidence from you to back up your subjective opinions.

Bily has his opportunity through injury, and then the mother of all opportunity with the sale of Pienaar.

The fact he's not established himself in a position were desperately short in speaks volumes to be honest.

Yes clearly. Judging on the sheer weight of people disagreeing with you on this thread, you apparently do hear what you want to hear sir.

I'm putting an argument forward with reasons for it. The majority of people might think that Take That are a great band, but it doesn't necessarily make it true.
