By having that agreement they would ensure stability in their share price and also ensure a price agreeable to all would need to be paid. It would also mean that their respective positions as the three major shareholder's couldn't be undermined.

Agree with this, when the Utd job becomes avalible they wont be short of proven managers who want it cant see Moyes being disscused never mind approached

Still think they would have someone with a higher profile than Moyes, just my opinion like

Its looking like Bill is saying to utd that if old red nose decides to pack it in the end of the season, they can feel free to approach Moyes and take his 60k per week off the wage bill, cost cutting could be continuing pre-season whereas he should be saying if they would like to talk to Moyes approach me and we can discuss some compensation as they would be effectively poaching our manager, and he has given them the green light to do so.

Who's been talking about Moyes going to United again? No one. He's probably covering his own back if Moyes walks in the summer.
