I agree mate, we need a change of ownership but i think we should be balanced in our view. Ok i would like a new stadium, i would like our turnover to increase - its the only show in town really. I still dont beleive Bill is disingenuous though, there is a lot i think we should remain gratefull for - the club has come on and is healthier make no mistake.
I accept our period of growth in terms of non organic turnover has come to end and that our cost base has become unaffordable, we have hit the glass ceiling - i think he does as well. I dont beleive he has turned down numerous offers - ive seen nothing concreate - that you wouldnt see in the sunday papers - nothing he hasnt told us himself. I beleive he wants whats best for Everton and i trust him to do it.
I think Bill, me, the world and its monkey know we beed a change and have acknowledged that - there is a big difeerence in that and making out he hasnt brought us on in many respects from the abyss of oblivation, leveraged us to line his pockets, or take a single red sent we make out of the club. The club has growen and developed more then it can afford as a buissness. Its time he knows, we know it - just no investors if you ask me - just my opinion like.
But i guess my orignanl point was he came out to pay tribute to the manager after 9 years service - he did it for the good of the club - and he gets a lasking - bit harsh IMHO. There could easily have been a thread if he hadnt of acknowledged the 9 years - criticising him.
I agree with much except that.
He and his people are disingenuous.
He's only been interested in a new stadium - entirely new, to allow him to recoup back all the value for a quick sale.
That fell through so he left us in a limbo. Ground sharing?
**** off Kenwright.
Well that is just poor and shows that he's in business terms poor.
He HAS let the manager down. And the ground capacity increase which should of happened but hasn't. That's just poor.
