Bill Kenwright on Moyes' future

I agree with much except that.

He and his people are disingenuous.

He's only been interested in a new stadium - entirely new, to allow him to recoup back all the value for a quick sale.

That fell through so he left us in a limbo. Ground sharing?

**** off Kenwright.

Well that is just poor and shows that he's in business terms poor.

He HAS let the manager down. And the ground capacity increase which should of happened but hasn't. That's just poor.

That line about Kenwright finding no one suitable to buy the club is stricltly for the birds mate. We've all moved on from that illusion...I thought you had too, tbh.

As for the statement today: what's the occasion? Moyes' 9th anniversary? So what? He's just trying to win some positive publicity for himself off the back of the manager - the man who he's hidden behind for the past 9 years.

Maybe lads - one Bill Kenwright not wanting to sell (though i dont beleive it) is plausable - why doesnt an investor just bypass him and buy out the other shareholders to give themselves a majority.

I heard the comments on the BBC etc - is that the evidance?

Just like that guy was doing at Arsenal. Good point, surprised nobody else has mentioned this before.

They may have a share holder agreement not to sell unless they sell enmasse.

We've been all round the houses on this and I'm not prepared to restate my point of view in any great detail.

You either accept the proposition that Everton have had no significant offers of a takeover in a period when takeovers have been commonplace, or you believe that Everton, out of all the top teams in the Premier League, have had no worthwhile offers.

I think the burden of proof lies with the people who take the latter view.

What would be the motivation for it mate?

In my expierence share holder agreements are usually held by a group of minority shareholders mate. I could understand if one was in place during the TBH advent - but certainly not after its dissolution. Besides shares have been traded both in small and large quantities since.

I dont see it mate - especially with Camen Island Robert on board, its a bit of a jump to be fair.

No answer then! Apart from their all Bills mates. I think i have provided the proof to back up my assertion - clearly Bill could be blowen out of the water - if an investor gained a majority - the fact it hasnt happend seems to suggest - there hasnt been the knocks on the door yourself and Matt would suggest or the Bill individualy clinging to power against the might of billionaires.

Im all over a takeover, so im not defending the current regime - just giving an analysed and construted view on the facts presented.

*Apoligies for sinking the battle ship!

By having that agreement they would ensure stability in their share price and also ensure a price agreeable to all would need to be paid. It would also mean that their respective positions as the three major shareholder's couldn't be undermined.

I mean really lids. This whole Kenwright thing has been done to death hasn't it?

Instead what we get is any mere reference to him in a thread dragging out a tedious bellfest which goes round and round in circles, has snidey comments and peeps falling out.

This should be about Moyes being in charge for nine years, which is an achievement within itself.
