Bill Kenwright on Moyes' future

Bill really comes across as that significant other who cannot move on and is hoping that everything turns out OK in the end. Meanwhile ignoring all of the signs that are flashing 2 inches in front of his face.

My message to Bill is....thank you sir. You have done your best, but the times are a changing. Therefore it's time for you to go. Your not giving the manager much of anything to work with and now your trying to play nice guy because you know that Moyes has had it up to his ears with your BS. Unless changes are made and a buyer willing to spend comes in we cannot sustain the performances the clubs have been putting in. You either want to move forward or see the club go down. Your actions will reveal your motives.

P.S. It's over. Move on.

Are there any other potential suitors knocking about?

I know everyone goes "IF MOYELES LEEVES HU DU WE GT IN?!?!"

If Kenwright goes who do we get in? I'm not being a smarty-pants, I would genuinely like to know.

The stories contradict each other, that's not a lie, but i see your point.

I don't bother with Damon posts that don't utilise at least two of the bold, italics and underline functions anymore. Why have a cheeseburger when you can have steak?

Fresh from Sky Sports this morning:

Everton boss David Moyes is determined to keep Jack Rodwell, but admits his hand may be forced.

The Toffees face a fight to keep their prized assets out of the clutches of their Premier League rivals, with reports suggesting summer offers are in the pipeline.

Among those to have attracted the most attention is England U21 star Rodwell, with Manchester United reportedly ready to pounce.

It is believed that the Red Devils are willing to part with around £20million in order to land the versatile youngster, who can operate in midfield or at the back.

United have previous when it comes to luring top talent away from Goodison Park, with Wayne Rooney snapped up back in 2004.

Moyes admits he is reluctant to see another home-grown talent slip through his net, but he understands that financial demands might leave him frustrated.

Building

"I am reluctant because I'm trying to build a football team not dismantle one," the Scot, who celebrates nine years as Everton boss on Tuesday, told the Daily Express.

"I just couldn't imagine Liverpool really wanting to sell one of their own, Steven Gerrard or Jamie Carragher, too easily.

"They have always done everything to keep them. It is the same with me. I wanted to keep Wayne. I also want to keep Jack.

"I am reluctant to sell my best players.

"I don't see that as being good for any manager, but I also understand that there may be financial situations which might mean that has to be the case."

Discussions
Moyes' full focus at present is on ensuring that Everton end the 2010/11 campaign as positively as possible, but he admits that he is hoping to be given encouragement from his board over the summer that better times lie ahead.

He said: "At the end of the season, it's important we find a route to go forward.

"The chairman and the people on the board will listen to my views and they'll need to tell me what the strategy is for the club.

"I will see if what they are talking about is workable."

Interesting shizzle.

Moyes is walking if the board does what he asks or give him the answers he wants

I always like to remain positive but for me this is Moyes preparing us for the inevitable; the board will not be able to support him this summer, I'm going to check out the odds for Moyes leaving in the summer and have a little flutter.

Exceptionally important summer for our club I don't know what to
Expect.

I can't see any light at the end of the proverbial tunnel. The team a few years ago was a very very saleable asset. Europe beckoned, always a, or a close top six finish. Bright, young emerging talent to build on and even the lure of Landon Donovan could of opened the flood gates for potential massive corporate deals. But, every thing of late has had the reverse Midas Touch.

Moyes will walk in the summer , 'cos I can't realistically see the tide turning any time soon in our favour, financially or squad wise.

Kenwright will still be here I'm afraid and some one will be at the helm managerially, who will just turn us into a more unattractive spectacle, than we are right now :(

It would be terrible if moyes went in the summer over the boards lack of ambition.I would say the board should hang their heads in shame but they are not bothered.

This place has gone weird.

Can everyone please state what their allegiances/agendas are so we know where everyone is up to right now.

Thanks.

I'm an everton fan and will not rubbish the team, the manager or the board until such a time as they are no longer in office. It's called supporting your club.
