Am I allowed to say we have a pretty young squad with a lot of potential? The problem over the years has been keeping them together. That seems to have been achieved this time round. As the years go by, with top ups as the old fellers fall off their perches, they may even be really pretty fine. Article of faith.

My point was there is plenty of real quality players out there that would have improved our team
Yarmalenko being one
3 teams in the prem, all smaller than Everton IMO
Have bought players that would walk into our team and improve it overnight
Ayew at Swansea
And 2 number 10's the type Martinez has apparently been after since May in payet West Ham and cabaye palace
Swansea gave ayew a 6mil singing on fee and are paying him 90k a week
And West Ham and palace will be paying payet & cabaye top wages
Most likely more than any Everton player is earning
I'm just sick of the lack of ambition from our board
When it's proved that there have been players available This summer that are better than what we have

I agree with what your saying here. The club was like this under moyes as well. Somehow he found some cracking bargains. Maartinez and his staff haven't done that yet.
