If DCL misses three 1 on 1s then there's a lynch mob in his thread.

I don't want to be too critical as the lad is beginning to win me round (which I didn't think possible a couple of months ago), but we should have won tonight and the reason we didn't was his poor finishing (3rd one wasn't a terrible effort TBF).

Still, his pace and movement have created a couple of those chances himself I guess

He’d get slaughtered because he’d miss them after not scoring in the previous 17, that’s not the case with Beto.

Never has been.

I'm not sure why Beto tried to round the keeper with his first one-on-one, I thought going for a straightforward finish would have been the better option. Anyway, it's good to have a striker creating the chances to miss rather than not making any chances at all.

Yes I agree. The keeper was in no mans land and he should have just passed it around him

He’s not going to take every chance, we know he plenty of rough edges but he is a far bigger goal threat than this current version of DCL.

Spot on,
6 weeks ago if you were giving him a mark out of 10, with Harry Kane being a 9. We’d have all said 1 or 2. He’s probably now a 5, which is a big surprise to the majority of us,I’d guess. But he still missed 3 good chances, made some wrong decisions and lost the ball cheaply which lead to their goal.

He’s done well and fair play to him, but next season we need a better number 9 imo
