Can't fault effort and the 1st miss was atrocious, no idea what he tried to do at all to be honest.

2nd was a decent save, 3rd was a top drawer save in all fairness. Any other night and he walks away with at least a brace. Credit to him for not letting his head drop either like, proving to be worth the howevermuchwepaidforhim currently. Doing the right things overall.

Worked hard the entire time too, just honestly hope he gets a good rest in, looked absolutely goosed in the last 15-20 min.

Beto is further proof Dyche is an actual imbecile also.

Definitely should do better for the first two chances but he didn't let him it get him down and kept going hard again and helped us get back up the pitch when we were under pressure. Especially since he's been playing like this for 90 mins of every game for a while now.

He works really well with Alcaraz. Always looking to nod a ball played forward down to someone and turns and looks for a return pass, and Alcaraz is always available. Doesn`t get that support from Doucs.

Fair play to the away supporters for singing his song despite his misses. He didn’t do too much wrong with the last 2 chances. I think he had a brain fart for the first one.

The boy Flekken had him on toast today, but his head didnt drop and he kept on plugging away, unlucky big fella.

Beto needs to work on a curl and work on his left. He was absolutely clowned by the keeper but in Beto's defense he clowned the defenders today. I can't think of a more difficult guy to stop in a straight line sprint in the league than Beto right now. Maybe Haaland

Mostly because Doucs is at his best when even he doesn't know what to expect from his legs/head in those situations. Proper agent of chaos.

Yeah good point, think @Efcjake pointed it out in the match thread. Great movement overall all night - he did that a few times but Harrison can't hit a cross to save his life and we had no full back to put some pressure on their defenders on the right for big parts during the game so we relied on him sadly.

Flekken also had every cross also, seems to be a fantastic keeper...?

Really unlucky tonight, thought he had a great game and was unlucky not to score at least two. Their keeper had a blinder tbf.

Love the lads effort, and I’ll take my striker missing the odd chance as long as he’s getting into positions to have them, which is what Beto gives us. His holdup play is getting better and better too.

Needs a good rest in Dubai, to come back fit and firing.
