While I expect this is probably true, I haven't read it anywhere. Can you share a source? As far as I know she has expressed no remorse about her actions and has no regrets about going there or the time she spent there. Doesn't sound like a rape victim to me. My guess is he’s talking about the fact within a short time of going there she was 15 and with a fighter nearly 30 . Same as any underage girl like cases of those involved in the grooming scandals that the police and social services weee rightly criticised for treating as boyfriend girlfriend she can’t consent because she’s a child and he isn’t .

I’m absolutely certain that the girls in Rochdale or wherever didn’t consider it rape at the time , in fact they told the police at the time it wasn’t .

I’m not comparing the two cases actually , I’m just using it as something to explain the idea of children consenting to have sex .

I don’t know the age of consent in Syria to be honest but I’d conside 15r under the age of consent , I was also answering on behalf of another poster that may not of been his point . I think it’s really young in Nigeria for example but I’d consider someone over there 12 was unable to consent .
